Salt Air, Inc. was founded in 2011 by Devin Skipper and his wife Brooke Skipper and they just recently celebrated 10 years of service in an around the Wilmington, North Carolina area. Salt Air has a mission to provide our present and future clients with the best professional services in the areas of air conditioning system design, installation, and maintenance.
Brooke and Devin have strong passion in their support of Wilmington-Area Rebuilding Ministry (WARM). They started volunteering with WARM in 2018 and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of helping repair the damaged homes of low income and elderly residents in the Wilmington community.
We had a chance to speak with the Cofounder of Salt Air, Brooke Skipper on her passion for entrepreneurship and helping others.
GB: What inspires you to want to support entrepreneurs and small businesses?
Brooke: Owning a business is not easy. We have learned lessons the hard way through the years and want other business owners to know they are not alone. When we can help others avoid mistakes and pitfalls we made, it’s very rewarding. It makes you feel like your struggles weren’t all in vain. Through supporting Genesis Block programs we hope the path for them can be a little easier as they learn, collaborate and grow.
GB: What can we look to see from Salt Air in 2022?
Brooke: Internally, 2022 will have a strong focus on growing our leaders. We have a strong team and want them to continue to excel in their positions. Customer facing we are launching our new website in Q1. The site will be getting an updated look and will feature our online shop where customers can purchase maintenance plans and even browse new system prices! Our goal is always to make the process easy for our clients, so we will continue to look for new and innovative ways to make booking appointments, contacting us, making payments, etc. easier for them.
