Genesis Block Honored with 2023 Small Business Community Activator Award

Genesis Block launched the company in February 2020 motivated by a mission to advance entrepreneurship at the community and local level.

Genesis Block was selected as the Community Activator of the Year at the Carolina Small Business Development Fund 2023 Small Business Awards held at the Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Community Activator award recognizes an individual or organization who has demonstrated a shared commitment to serving and empowering underserved entrepreneurs and communities.

The 2023 Small Business Awards are a celebration of the entrepreneurs, policy makers and community partners making significant impact in North Carolina’s Small Business ecosystem. The event consisted of networking sessions, speakers, remarks from North Carolina members of the House and Senate and speeches from awardees representing businesses and entrepreneur support organizations from across the state.
