The COVID 19 shutdown has us all suffering from a hint of cabin fever. Kimberly Loney was a human resources professional for over 12 years and saw how stressed her clients were from having to deal with vacation planning.

“I would often hear managers say they need a vacation from their vacation. I felt terrible for them because I know how stressful the work environment can be,” says Kimberly Loney Founder of Come Visit Jamaica Travel. Loney decided to launch the travel management company to share her insider tips for traveling to Jamaica and provide guidance to help people really enjoy the island.

Genesis Block: What inspired you to launch Come Visit Jamaica Travel?

Kimberly Loney: It was inspired by my travels to the Caribbean and I have a mission to help people experience the local life of the “real” Jamaica, detached from the popular all-inclusive resorts.

Genesis Block: Why did you and your company choose Genesis Block?

Kimberly Loney: I am excited to collaborate with Genesis Block. Girard and Tracey are true visionaries with hearts of gold and a passion for helping people experience the freedom and leverage that comes from entrepreneurship. I look forward to bringing the services of Come Visit Jamaica Travel and my other projects to the collective in any manner that brings value to others.

Originally named “Local Jamaica Life”, it was inspired by Loney’s travels to the Caribbean and her mission to help people experience the local life of the “real” Jamaica, off of the popular all-inclusive resorts.
