Introducing Team Vibe! Jumpstart Academy Newest Cohort has Got That Vibe

Genesis Block Jumpstart Academy held its initial Kick off meeting on Wednesday, February 2, with a new cohort of 8 early stage startups in the Wilmington area.

The Genesis Block Jumpstart Academy launched the first cohort of 2022. Eight local startups were selected to participate in the Jumpstart Academy aimed at helping early stage founders in the Wilmington area. These founders were selected based on their traction locally, solid business concept and growth potential.

The Jumpstart Academy is an 8 week intensive course for early stage entrepreneurs that focuses on idea validation. Founders enroll in a structured entrepreneurship program that provides skills training, lean business development principles, mentoring and monthly consultations. The goal is for entrepreneurs to firmly validate their business idea and move forward to strengthen the venture.

Jumpstart members will participate in the Genesis Block Demo Day to present their business idea to the community.

The new cohort has given itself the moniker Team Vibe to illustrate their positivity and optimistic approach to entrepreneurship. The Jumpstart Academy is organized in cohorts for the purpose of creating collaboration opportunities, providing support for fellow entrepreneurs and to spark innovation.
