Team Phoenix is Rising, Genesis Block New Cohort Begins Entrepreneur Training Program

The special ingredient at Sweetcakes Tbc bakery is love. Sweetcakes joins 8 other companies selected for the Genesis Block Back on the Block Minority Accelerator.

Nine companies have been selected to participate in the Genesis Block Back on the Block Minority Accelerator. This will be the second cohort of the program and the companies selected provide services across a broad spectrum of business sectors. The cohort received their orientation on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Genesis Block. The group of business owners, named themselves, Team Phoenix in a breakout session aimed at building cohort camaraderie.

“I am really excited that all of these companies are seasoned in their craft and trade. They have had significant success in their businesses thus far, making them great candidates to benefit from the advanced entrepreneurial skills training they will receive at the accelerator,” says Genesis Block Cofounder and President Tracey Newkirk.

Tiffany Machler is the owner of Art By Nugget and she is a dynamic artist ready to take the creative economy to the next level.

Art By Nugget, is an art and entertainment company with custom art and mural work, owned by Tiffany Machler. Tiffany, is well known in the Wilmington arts community for her eclectic murals and unique art gallery located at 1109 S. Third Street in Wilmington. Tiffany is working on developing a franchise model for an art experience that is unique and provides a great compliment to the growing brewing industry in Wilmington.

Bryan Munn (aka The Crab Man), is the CEO of NRowt LLC and has gained a large following on social media with his unique marketing style.

Bryan Munn is the Founder and CEO of NRowt LLC, a full-service mobile food company specializing in seafood and crabs. Affectionately known as “The Crab Man”, Munn has gained a large following on social media. Bryan is working on developing a distribution model that will provide the framework to scale his mobile food distribution concept.

All Dolled Up Beauty Supply LLC, is a beauty supply store specializing in natural hair care products and human hair wigs for cancer and alopecia patients. Tamiesha Clinton, is the owner of All Dolled Up Beauty Supply and she is on a mission to improve the customer service levels and merchandising options for the beauty supply industry.

Fuwangz LLC, is a family owned and operated restaurant specializing in tempting, delicious chicken Wings with over 40 sauce combinations from traditional and mild to hot and spicy to dry rubs. Marteke and Amanda Franks, are the owners of Fuwangz. They are focused on developing a repeatable and scalable business model.
